What seasonings are provided?
We provide basic seasonings such as salt, pepper, and cooking oil. Please bring any additional seasonings you may need.
Check-in is generally not available before 3:00 PM, as cleaning times vary depending on the previous guest’s stay. However, feel free to contact us on the day of your arrival, and we can let you know the estimated cleaning completion time
Can I request a late check-out?
Late check-out is generally not available due to cleaning and preparation for the next guests. In some cases, it may be possible for an additional fee, so please contact us in advance. Same-day requests are not accepted. Unauthorized late check-outs will incur a fee of ¥4,000 per hour.
Are there places to eat nearby?
There is a fugu and Japanese restaurant called “Ichie” (reservation required) located just across the street. Additionally, several restaurants and izakayas are within a 10-minute walk.
What should I do if the number of guests increases?
Please make sure to contact us in advance if the number of guests changes after your reservation. Entry by unregistered guests is strictly prohibited. Kindly notify us of any additional guests via email at sanomore.co@gmail.com
Why do I need to submit guest information and ID?
Under Japanese law, all accommodations are required to maintain a guest registry. Guests without a registered address in Japan must also submit a copy of their passport. Additionally, Tochigi Prefecture regulations require identity verification in properties without a front desk. Therefore, pre-registration with a photo ID and identity confirmation on the day of check-in are required.
This is possible with prior approval; however, a fee equivalent to one night’s stay will be charged. Entry by unregistered guests is strictly prohibited, so please contact us in advance if the number of visitors changes.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Cancellations are free up to 5 days before your stay (excluding long-term stays). After that, a 100% cancellation fee will apply. You can cancel via the confirmation email. For long-term stays, please contact us directly.
Do you have a takoyaki or BBQ grill plate?
We do not provide takoyaki or BBQ grill plates. Strong-smelling cooking is not permitted, as it may affect the comfort of future guests.
Is smoking allowed (including e-cigarettes or hookah)?
Smoking of any kind, including e-cigarettes and hookah, is strictly prohibited indoors. Additional cleaning fees will be charged if smoking is detected.
Pajamas are not provided. Please bring your own.
Are toiletries like toothbrushes available?
Yes, we provide toothbrushes, combs, razors, cotton sets, and body towels for your use.
Yes, bath towels and face towels are provided for each guest. For longer stays, a washer-dryer is available for your convenience.
Are there places to shop nearby?
There is a 7-Eleven about a 6-minute walk away, a drugstore (Kusuri no Aoki) about a 10-minute walk away, and a supermarket (Fressay) about a 4-minute drive away.
